Rachel Brown

Rachel Brown is the current Group Product Manager at Altruist. Prior to their current position, they served as a Product Manager at Tala from June 2018 to June 2020. At Tala, Rachel led product growth for a #1 finance mobile app in Kenya, the Philippines and Mexico (4.8 PlayStore rating, 2.5M MAU). Her product areas included acquisition (referrals, ad-tech), conversion (signup, underwriting, KYC, cash-out), and engagement (financial education, community, help center).

Before their time at Tala, Rachel was a Senior Consultant at EY from September 2015 to June 2018. Rachel was focused on digital transformation and product strategy at a leading wealth management firm.

Rachel began their career at EY as part of their Business Advisory Program in June 2014.

Rachel Brown has a Bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University.
