Mateo Semerene

Mateo Semerene began their career in 2016 as a Research Assistant at the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for the McIntire School of Commerce. In 2017, they held the position of President for Towards a Better Latin America, as well as Capital Markets and Sales Analyst for Credijusto.com. In 2018, they were an Associate in Capital Markets for AlphaSights. In 2019, they worked as a Project Manager for Mambo. In 2020, they were Partner and Director at Kin Analytics, and COO and Co-Founder at AltScore. In 2021, they were a Fellow for Sigma Squared Society. Finally, in 2022, they were a part of the Winter '22 cohort for Techstars Boulder Accelerator.

Mateo Semerene's education history includes graduating from the American School of Quito with a high school diploma in 2014, attending the University of Virginia and obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Thought and Practice in 2018, participating in an exchange program at the National University of Singapore in 2017, and completing a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the UVA McIntire School of Commerce in 2018. Mateo also completed a fellowship at Latitud in 2021.
