Melissa Gurney

Melissa Gurney is a dedicated physiotherapist with extensive experience across various healthcare settings. Currently employed at The Ottawa Hospital since July 2021 and at Altum Health - University Health Network since October 2019, Melissa provides specialized care for workplace injuries and orthopedic disorders. Previous roles include weekend inpatient coverage at North York General Hospital and research opportunities at Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. Melissa's education includes a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto, a Master’s Degree in Gait Biomechanics from the University of Guelph, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Kinetics from the same institution.
