Martijn Schouten

Martijn Schouten is a seasoned technology professional specializing in artificial intelligence, currently serving as a Senior AI Engineer at Altura since April 2025. Martijn is also the owner of Meadow, a one-person venture that has undertaken various projects, including system development for radio signal processing and small business platform design. Previous roles include Head of AI at AIAIAI, Artificial Intelligence Team Lead and Architect at Lifely, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at WhiskyWhy, and interim Team Lead for Artificial Intelligence at INFO - Your Business Innovation Partner. Martijn has contributed to mentoring at TechLabs Amsterdam and holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in ICT in Business & the Public Sector from Leiden University and a Bachelor’s in Information Science from the University of Amsterdam.
