Talib Aleem, Ph.D. has had a successful career in the IT industry. Talib began their career in 1995 as an Advisory Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where they developed strategies for using the Internet in support of company goals, including converting IBM mainframe legacy data to Windows NT web based applications and automating more than 30 different procedures. Talib then moved to Digital Focus in 2000, where they served as Senior Program Director, managing e-commerce product implementation and integration processes. In 2002, they returned to Lockheed Martin as a Systems Engineer Principal, performing hands-on and consulting services to CIOs, CEOs and CFOs. In 2007, they joined The SI Organization, Inc. as a Systems Engineer Principal, acting as a subject matter expert with Technical Information Officers in Foreign International Operations. In 2010, they established Aleem Photography, where they earned a Best In Show and First Place awards at the 2015 AC Boardwalk Art Show and First Place and an Honorable Mention for Architectural Photography in Virginia. In 2015, they began working as a Figure Skating Coach and 2017 Adult Gold Medalist, coaching children and adults and helping skaters to appreciate the art of figure skating. In 2018, they joined Altus Consulting Corporation as Director of Program Management and IT Program Manager, bringing fifteen years of Program and Project Management expertise with four years of experience in the customer’s Risk Management Framework system / technical risk assessment and authorization of cyber systems.

Talib Aleem, Ph.D. began their education in 1972 at Wilberforce University, where they obtained a BS in Comp. Sci. in 1977. Talib then attended the University of Dayton, graduating with a B.S.E.E in Electrical Engineering in 1977. In 1995, they began their doctoral studies at Union Institute & University, earning a Ph.D. in Computer Science in 1998. Talib concurrently attended The George Washington University from 1995-2003, but did not obtain a degree. In 2012, they obtained a Certified Ethical Hacker certification from EC COUNCIL.
