Sanjoy Kumar Roy

Sanjoy Kumar Roy has over 20 years of experience in the field of technology and software development. Sanjoy Kumar is currently working as a Principal Architect at Altus Group, where they joined as an Architect in 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Principal Engineer at H4 from 2020 to 2021.

From 2011 to 2020, Sanjoy worked at Kindred Group, starting as a Senior Software Developer and eventually progressing to the position of Architect. During their tenure, they also briefly served as a Development Team Lead in 2015.

Before joining Kindred Group, Sanjoy worked as a Software Engineer at MegaNexus Ltd from 2007 to 2011, where they led the design and implementation of various government, university, and health projects. Sanjoy Kumar was responsible for the analysis, design, development, and testing of software using the JUnit framework.

Prior to that, Sanjoy worked as a Programmer at Newage Infotech Ltd. from 2005 to 2007. Here, they were responsible for requirements gathering, software development, designing and executing test cases, and managing databases using MySQL.

Earlier in their career, Sanjoy worked as a Teacher in the field of Information Science and Computing at Perdana College of Malaysia from 2003 to 2005, as well as a Teacher in the Department of Information Technology at Australasia Institute of Business and Technology from 2003 to 2003.

In 2002, they began their career as a Programmer at Stitel Technologies Inc, where they analyzed manual and software systems and wrote business rules.

Throughout their career, Sanjoy Kumar Roy has gained extensive experience in architecture design, software development, team leadership, and teaching in the field of information technology.

Sanjoy Kumar Roy completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Madras from 1996 to 1999. Sanjoy Kumar then pursued a Master of Computer Application degree at Pondicherry University from 1999 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in August 2018.
