Shantanu Rachalwar

Shantanu Rachalwar is a seasoned engineering professional specializing in solar design with extensive experience in renewable energy projects. Currently serving as a Senior Solar Design Engineer at Altus Power, Inc. since March 2024, Shantanu previously held roles at SunVest Solar, LLC as a Design Engineer, where project creation involved Helioscope and AutoCAD, and Moxie Solar as Engineering Manager, overseeing project life cycles and engineering team compliance. With earlier experience as a Design Engineer at Ideal Energy Solar focusing on PV and Storage system modeling and cost estimation, Shantanu also contributed as a Teaching Assistant at Wright State University and conducted property surveys for local civic projects. Educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Renewable and Clean Energy from Wright State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Progressive Education Society's Modern College of Engineering.
