Alexander Klein is a Mechanical Engineer currently contributing to advanced development research, engineering design, and testing at iRobot since June 2022, focusing on the next generation of robots. Prior experience includes roles as a System Design Analyst at AutoStore from June 2020 to June 2022, providing design insights and analytical support for sales initiatives, and a Mechanical Engineering Intern at iRobot, where critical testing and prototyping for robot vacuum platforms were accomplished. Alexander has also led robotics projects at Tufts University, including improvements to an automated “Virtuoso” violin for QRS Music Technology, and served as a teaching assistant, fostering hands-on learning in mechanical design and robotics. Earlier involvement includes mentoring young students in engineering through the STOMP program, along with various summer employment positions. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University, completed in 2019.
