Mike Ting

Mike Ting has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to present. From 2011 to 2012, they were an Engineering Intern at Cooper Perkins, a design consultancy. At Bose Corporation from 2012 to 2016, they were a Mechanical Engineer, working on all stages of the development spectrum from R&D to helping lead builds in APAC. Mike shipped 4 products and had 5 patents granted. From 2016 to 2020, they were at SharkNinja, where they held various roles including Senior Technical Product Manager, Engineering Manager, Senior Engineer, and Engineering Lead. In this role, they bridged the gap between Ninja's crossfunctional teams to more cohesively build new products, framed up new product and market opportunities for Ninja's roadmap, led the engineering team responsible for developing Ninja's motorized products, and drove roadmap strategy with other crossfunctional leads. Mike also developed the product vision and technical requirements for a pipeline Ninja motorized product and led the team building it. In 2020, Mike began working at Altus Thermal as VP Engineering.

Mike Ting graduated from McGill University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering.
