Derek Johnson

Derek Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Derek began their career at Rowe Engineering as an Engineer from 1999 to 2002. From 2003 to 2011, they worked at Gates Corporation as a Sr Product Line Engineering Manager, where they managed manufacturing costs and was responsible for international product launches. Derek then joined Superior Controls as a Project Manager-RedVikingGroup, overseeing the procurement and development of suppliers for large capital equipment defense contracts from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they joined FEV North America, Inc. as a Senior Lead Engineer. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at Montaplast of North America as a Key Account Manager. Most recently, they have been serving as the Director of Sales at Aludyne since October 2021, after working as a Key Account Manager for the company from 2019 to 2021.

Derek Johnson obtained their MS in Engineering from Kettering University, completing their education from 1998 to 2005. Derek then attended the Center for Creative Leadership in 2018 for an unspecified program. In 2020, they earned their Young Leaders Council degree from OESA.
