Alum-a-Lift
Austin Thompson is an experienced electrical design engineer with a strong background in product development, quality assurance, and project engineering. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Alum-a-Lift since October 2023, Thompson previously held the role of Parts Quality Engineer at Honda Precision Parts of Georgia, LLC, and worked as a Product Development Engineer at Audality from May 2018 to July 2022. At Audality, Thompson excelled in electrical circuit and enclosure design for consumer audio products, developed R&D testing procedures, led product design reviews, and collaborated with OEM manufacturers for custom components. Thompson began the career as an Audio Engineering Intern at a startup focused on wireless audio technology, responsible for final product assembly and quality evaluation. Thompson earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2020.
