Jose D. Medina, M.A., APCC, PPSC is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as an Outpatient Therapist at Alum Rock Counseling Center since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jose worked as a School Counselor in the Campbell Union School District from February 2022 to June 2023 and completed a Middle School Counselor Internship with the Evergreen School District from August 2021 to January 2022. Additional experience includes a School Counselor Internship within the Alum Rock Union Elementary School District from August 2020 to June 2021, and various positions at Starbucks, San Jose State University, and the Educational Opportunity Program from August 2017 to June 2019. Jose holds a Master of Arts in Counseling and Guidance and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from San Jose State University.

Our homes, schools and neighborhoods are safe - free of violence and dangerous behaviors. 5. Our youth and families have resources for overcoming behavioral health concerns including substance use and mental health challenges.
