Prabakaran R, M.Eng, EIT has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Prabakaran began their career as a Computer Aided Drafter at DiagonalCADD Pvt Ltd in 2008 and worked in this position until 2009. From 2009 to 2013, Prabakaran served as a CAD Designer-cum-Tutor at the same company. In 2013, they joined Chennai Institute of Technology as a Research Assistant and worked there until 2015. Prabakaran then joined RENAULT NISSAN MITSUBISHI ALLIANCE, INDIA, where they served as a Senior Product Design Engineer from 2015 to 2019. Following this, they joined Hematite Manufacturing as a Product Designer from 2019 to 2021. Currently, they are employed as a Lead Product Design Engineer at AlumaPower Corporation, starting in June 2021.

Prabakaran R, M.Eng, EIT has a diverse education history. Prabakaran completed a Certificate Diploma in Machine Design from DiagonalCADD Pvt Ltd in 2008, specializing in Mechanical Drafting and Mechanical Drafting CAD/CADD. In 2013, they earned their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from St. Peter's Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai. Subsequently, in 2015, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in CAD/CAM from Anna University.

In terms of certifications, Prabakaran obtained the Certified Professional AutoCAD 2013 certification from Autodesk in September 2013. Prabakaran also acquired additional skills and knowledge through certifications such as CATIA V5: Design for Injection Molding from LinkedIn in October 2019 and Learning Siemens NX from LinkedIn in September 2019. Most recently, in August 2022, they obtained the Certified Product Manager (CPM) certification from Product School.
