David Monasterio

David Monasterio serves as Senior Managing Director at Alumbra since February 2021, leveraging extensive experience in procurement and project management within the solar energy sector. Previously, David held the position of Managing Director at Solairedirect Global Operations, overseeing procurement for ENGIE SOLAR, where significant projects exceeding 3GW were developed and constructed globally. Additional roles include Chief Procurement Officer for ENGIE, Director of Customer Finance at SunPower Corporation, and various leadership positions in outsourcing and mobile solutions. David holds an MBA in Finance and Operations from Indiana University and a BA in Political Science and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, complemented by executive education in Project Finance.
