Adriaan Staal

Adriaan Staal's work experience began in 2009 at DMM Websolutions BV, where they worked as a Junior PHP Developer until July 2010. From August 2010 to August 2012, they worked as a Medior PHP/TYPO3 Service Developer at theFactor.e. In 2012, they joined Youwe, initially as a Projectmanager eBusiness/Teamleider, responsible for project management using Scrum or Waterfall methodologies. Adriaan transitioned within Youwe to become a member of the Operational Team, overseeing eCommerce (Magento) project management as a Project Manager or Scrum Master from May 2015 to October 2019. Additionally, they served as a Senior Project Manager eCommerce/Manager Kiev office from April 2017 to October 2019 and as an Operations Manager at Medisoft and Youwe Ukraine from November 2018 to April 2020. Adriaan joined Alumio in April 2020 as a Product Owner/Partner and later became Head of Product in August 2021.

Adriaan Staal's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Media & Informatiemanagement from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, which they completed from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Applicatieontwikkelaar from Drenthe College ICT, where they studied from 2002 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Adriaan Staal has obtained several certifications. Adriaan became a Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) through Scrum.org in April 2020. In September 2017, they earned the Magento 2 Certified Solution Specialist certification from Magento Commerce. Adriaan Staal also holds the Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org, which they acquired in June 2013. Furthermore, they became a Certified TYPO3 integrator through the TYPO3 Association in January 2012.
