Margot Shang

Margot Shang is a Venture Scout for Alumni Ventures since July 2025, identifying and sharing promising investment opportunities within an extensive network of angels and entrepreneurs. Prior to this, Margot held multiple roles at Ogilvy from September 2021 to June 2025, including Global Consultant and Global Analyst, as part of an 18-month Associates Program involving rotations in Data & Analytics and Consulting. Previous experience includes serving as Seed Fund Fellow at Alumni Ventures, Design Chair and other design roles at The Harvard Crimson, and various internships including Research Assistant at Harvard University and Sustainability Intern at The Bicester Village Shopping Collection. Margot holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University and is currently pursuing an MBA at Harvard Business School, expected to graduate in May 2027.
