Björn Ström

Björn Ström is the Co-Founder and CTO of Alva Labs. Björn has been in this position for 5 years and 1 month. Prior to that, they were a Data Scientist at EQT Partners/EQT AB for 7 months and an Analytics Intern at EQT Ventures for 7 months. Björn has also been a Teaching Assistant at Linköpings universitet for 2 years and 11 months, where they taught Linear Algebra, Mathematical Optimization (introduction and extended course), and Mathematical Statistics (extended course). Björn has also done a 3-month Summer internship as a Developer at Ericsson in their R&D department in Lund. Lastly, they were a Growth hacker at Allakando, where they were employee #1 and helped the company grow from 0 to 6.5 MSEK turnover in 3 years.

Björn Ström has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from The Institute of Technology at Linköping University in Industrial Engineering and Management with specialisations in Computer Science and Finance from 2012 - 2017. Björn also has a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Technology Sydney in Computer Science from 2014 - 2014 during their exchange semester.
