Simón de Frosterus

Simón de Frosterus has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Simón began their career in 2003 with a capstone project at GemStone Systems. In 2006, they worked as a Junior Researcher at SICS, followed by a role as a Software Developer/Web at Ericsson from 2006 to 2007. From 2008 to 2016, Simón worked at Open Wave Messaging as a Full Stack Developer, also spending a year as an Android developer within the organization. In 2016, they joined Synchronoss Technologies as a Full Stack Engineer, where they worked until 2023. Currently, Simón holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Alva Labs, starting in January 2023.

Simón de Frosterus obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Portland State University between 2001 and 2005. Following this, they pursued further education at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2007, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree with a specialization in Distributed Systems.
