Oli Thordarson

President/CEO at Alvaka Networks

Oli Thordarson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Oli started their career in 1982 by founding Computer Applications, where they served as the Founder/President until 1997. In 1982, they also became the President/CEO of Alvaka Networks, a company that specializes in network performance monitoring and security services. Alongside their role at Alvaka Networks, Oli served as a board member for OPDA Technology Alliance starting in 2015. In 2011, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Patchworx - Enterprise Patch Management & Monitoring, providing healthcare organizations with outsourced patching solutions. Oli pursued their passion for race car driving by taking on roles as a race car driver for various organizations such as Trans Am Racing, Sports Car Club of America, Inc. (SCCA), Spec Corvette Racing, and National Auto Sports Association. From 2013 to 2015, they returned to OPDA Technology Alliance, this time as the President. Additionally, Oli owned Oli Thordarson's Trial Accessories from 1975 to 1983.

Oli Thordarson completed the 10,000 Small Business Program in Business Administration and Management at Goldman Sachs in 2017. Prior to that, in 2005, they obtained a Channel Elite MBA in Business Administration and Management from Babson College. Between 1979 and 1982, Oli attended California State University, Long Beach and studied Computer Information Systems for three years.
