Ada Alvis Gomez is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and educational support. Currently serving as a 2nd Grade Bilingual Teacher at Alvarado Independent School District since August 2021, Ada has previously taught as a 1st Grade Bilingual Teacher in the same district. Prior experience includes roles as a 4th Grade Math Teacher and 6th Grade Math Teacher at Hillsboro Independent School District from January 2017 to March 2022, and a Life Skills Assistant at Cleburne Independent School District from August 2010 to August 2016. Ada began a career in administration as an Administrative Assistant at Zitro from 2004 to 2007 and worked as a Clinical Research Assistant at Laboratorio Linus Pauling from 1986 to 1988. Ada holds a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education and Teaching from Stephen F. Austin State University, obtained between 2014 and 2016, and an earlier degree as a Lab Technician in Clinical Laboratory Science from Corporación Universitaria de la Costa, earned from 1984 to 1987.
