Gladys Covert is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in special education and inclusive teaching across several school districts in Texas. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Alvarado Independent School District since July 2023 and an Inclusion Teacher at Grand Prairie Independent School District since August 2021, Gladys has previously worked in various roles within Cedar Hill Independent School District and Duncanville Independent School District, among others. With a Master’s degree in Special Education from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts and Science from Texas A&M University-Commerce, Gladys possesses a strong academic foundation that complements a diverse professional background, including data analysis and quality assurance in healthcare settings.
