Shannon Ward

Shannon Ward, ASW, is a skilled mental health professional currently serving as a Mental Health Counselor at Community Research Foundation since June 2023. Prior experience includes Team Lead at Telecare Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing clinical operations and ensuring compliance with documentation standards, as well as developing individualized service plans. Previously, Shannon was a Navigation Services Supervisor at 2-1-1 San Diego, managing a team of health navigation staff, and served as a Health Navigation Specialist, providing care navigation services. Additional roles included Social Work Intern positions at the Center for Community Solutions and Valley Center Middle School, where advocacy and case management for vulnerable populations were key focuses. Shannon holds a Master of Social Work specializing in Children, Youth, and Families from CSUSM Extended Learning and a BA in Sociology/Public Policy from the University of California, Riverside.
