Robert Piechota

Robert Piechota is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in transactional tax, particularly within mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Managing Director in the Global Transaction Tax Practice at Alvarez & Marsal since June 2021, Robert has previously held senior roles at Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers, focusing on state and local tax due diligence. Beginning a career in tax services at the New Jersey Division of Taxation, Robert possesses a solid foundation in statutory interpretation and tax reform. Robert earned a Juris Doctor degree from Penn State Dickinson Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Franklin & Marshall College.
