André Santos Pinto

André Santos Pinto, CFA, has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. André started their career at Strong Segurança, S.A. in 2009, where they worked in the Management Control Department for a brief period. In 2012, they transitioned to BPI Vida e Pensões as an Actuary, where they stayed until 2014. At BPI Gestão de Ativos, André worked as an Assistant Portfolio Manager and Fund Selector from 2014 to 2018. André then joined CaixaBank Asset Management as a Fund Selector, a role they held until 2020. In 2020, André returned to BPI Gestão de Ativos as a Portfolio Manager, staying until 2021. André furthered their career at Alvarium as an Associate Director, Portfolio Manager from late 2021 to early 2023. Currently, André holds the position of Vice President, Portfolio Manager at AlTi Tiedemann Global.

André Santos Pinto, CFA holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder designation, which they obtained from the CFA Institute in 2018. Prior to that, they pursued an International Master of Science in Business Administration, with a major in Finance, at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, from 2010 to 2012. In 2011, they also participated in an exchange semester at Copenhagen Business School. André obtained their undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics in 2010. As part of their undergraduate program, they took part in the Erasmus Exchange Program at Poznan University of Economics And Business in 2009.
