John Carbine

John Carbine has extensive work experience in the field of information security and technology. John is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at AlTi Tiedemann Global, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, John worked at TIG Advisors, LLC from January 2017 to February 2023, where they served as the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Security Officer. John also held the role of Director of Infrastructure and Security at TIG Advisors from October 2003 to January 2017. John's experience also includes serving as a Cybersecurity Advisory Board Member at Rutgers University from March 2018 to March 2020. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Field Engineer at Eze Castle Integration from September 2000 to October 2003, and as a Helpdesk Analyst at Kozmo from November 1999 to September 2000.

John Carbine earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. In addition, they obtained a certification in CISSP from (ISC)² in June 2016.
