Kamran Husain

Kamran Husain has a diverse range of work experience in the field of medical technology and laboratory management. Kamran began their career at South Shore Hospital in 2009 as a Medical Technologist, where they performed hospital testing in Clinical Chemistry, Hematology/Coagulation, and Blood Bank. Kamran also gained knowledge and experience in Immunology, Microbiology, and Flow Cytometry. In 2016, they joined Alverno Laboratories as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) and later took on various roles, including MT Coordinator for Chemistry & Urinalysis, MT Coordinator for the General Laboratory, General Laboratory Supervisor, Laboratory Manager, and currently serves as the Laboratory Director. Kamran Husain's expertise and experience make him a valuable asset in the field of medical technology and laboratory management.

Kamran Husain began their education at Rush University from 2007 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with a focus on Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist. Afterward, from 2011 to 2016, they attended Atlantic University School of Medicine and obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. In 2010, they obtained the Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP-MLS) certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
