Michelle Eble-Hankins is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Practice at the Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln since August 2022. Prior to this, Michelle worked as a Lighting Designer / Electrical Engineer at Alvine and Associates starting from 2001. Michelle also served as an Assistant Professor of Practice at the same university and school from August 2012 to January 2023. Michelle previously worked as an Electrical Engineer at Albert Kahn Associates from January 1996 to June 2001. Michelle holds a PhD in Architectural Engineering (Lighting) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, earned between 2001 and 2008, and a BS in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University, obtained between 1990 and 1995.
