Richard Volpe

Richard Volpe is an experienced tax professional with a robust background in tax management and compliance across multiple industries. Currently serving as Tax Director at Alvogen since February 2011, Richard oversees FAS 109, FIN 48, IFRS versus GAAP for 20 foreign countries, and manages consolidated federal and state income tax returns across 35 states. Prior experience includes holding the position of Director of Taxes at NVA Compassion-First from February 2017 to October 2021 and Tax Director at The Vitamin Shoppe, where responsibilities encompassed federal and state tax obligations for 45 states. Richard's career began at DSM Nutritional Products as Sr. Finance Manager, focusing on federal, state, and local taxes.
