Francisco J. Gonzalez has a diverse work experience in the education field. Francisco J. started their career in 2003 as a Teacher in the Lake Elsinore Unified School District. Francisco J. also served as a Title 1 Program Teacher during this time, where they focused on meeting student academic needs through data analysis and curriculum development, as well as supporting classroom teachers through demonstrations and professional development.
In 2013, they joined Santa Rosa City Schools as a Program Coordinator C & I K-6. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all curriculum programs, including English Language programs and after-school programs. Francisco J. also played a role in professional development and accountability.
From 2014 to 2016, Francisco worked at Cesar Chavez Language Academy. Francisco J. initially held the position of Principal & Coordinator, where they had a range of responsibilities. These included managing day-to-day school operations and coordinating various aspects of the school. Francisco J. then transitioned to the role of Principal, where their focus remained on school operations.
Most recently, Francisco has been working as a Principal in the Alvord Unified School District since 2016.
Francisco J. Gonzalez holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Policy Studies, Bilingual Education from San Diego State University. Francisco J. also has a Credential in Bilingual, Multicultural Education and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Liberal Studies, both obtained from San Diego State University as well. Additionally, they have an Administrative Services Credential and a Bilingual, Crosscultural, Language, and Academic Development (B/CLAD) Teaching Credential.
