Benedikt Stefansson

Benedikt Stefansson is an experienced professional in the fields of investor relations, global communication, and business development, currently serving as the VP of Investor Relations and Global Communication at Alvotech since March 2022. With a strong background in sustainable solutions, Benedikt held a board member position at CO2 Value Europe and served as Chairman of the Board for Græna orkan – Iceland Green Energy Partnership. Prior roles include Director of Business Development at Carbon Recycling International and advisor to the Minister of Economic Affairs in Iceland. Benedikt's early career involved positions as an economist and senior analyst at Landsbankinn and Landsbanki, along with significant experience in journalism. Benedikt holds a C.Phil. and M.A. in Economics from UCLA and a BS in Economics from Háskóli Íslands.
