Peter Kohut

Peter Kohut is an experienced professional in the field of pharmacovigilance, currently serving as the Head of Pharmacovigilance at Alvotech since August 2021. Prior to this role, Kohut held several key positions, including Director of Drug Safety and EU QPPV at Arriello, where responsibilities included restructuring the pharmacovigilance department and leading a team of 60 professionals. Kohut has also served as the deputy EU QPPV at Ewopharma and as a Safety Officer at Premier Research, gaining extensive experience in drug safety management across various therapeutic areas. Academically, Kohut holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the Slovak Academy of Sciences and a Master's degree in Pharmacy from Univerzita Komenského in Bratislava. Additional experience includes conducting research and working as a team-building instructor.
