Jan MacAl

Jan Macal has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2011, they worked as an Operator of Polymerization at Synthos S.A. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Service Desk Operator at NN, where they managed incidents and requests for various IT services. Later, they became a Service Delivery Officer at NN, responsible for managing IT processes and coordinating internal teams. From 2017 to 2018, Jan worked as a Freelance Copywriter & Content Marketing Specialist, providing copywriting and content marketing services to clients. Jan then joined Alza.cz a.s. in 2017 as a Copywriter, before progressing to become a Copywriter Team Leader and then a Content Specialist. In 2019, they became the Vendor Content Team Leader at Alza.cz a.s., leading a team in executing content marketing strategies for various companies. From 2020 to 2021, Jan served as the Editor of Foreign Topics at Charita Česká republika, where they managed website portfolios and social media channels, implemented communication strategies, and provided content support for fundraising activities. In 2022, they briefly worked as a Change Manager at Správa železnic, státní organizace. Currently, Jan is employed as an SEO & Content Specialist at Alza.cz a.s., where they manage content delivery and SEO for specific segments and brands.

Jan Macal attended Dvořákov Gymnázium from 2006 to 2011, where they pursued a 4-year general gymnasium program. In addition, they obtained several certifications, including ITIL Foundation in November 2015, ITIL Practitioner in November 2016, SCRUM Foundation in May 2017, and Google Digital Garage in October 2018. Jan also earned the FCE (First Certificate in English) from Cambridge English Language Assessment in July 2011.
