Pavel Ježek

Pavel Ježek has extensive work experience in various technical and leadership roles. Pavel most recently worked at Alza.cz a.s. as the Head of Architecture, where they were responsible for leading a team of 45-135 team leaders, programmers, and other specialists. Pavel was in charge of developing ERP systems using technologies such as Delphi, SQL Server, C#, Kubernetes, Linux, Docker, .NET Core / .NET, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Prometheus, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Jaeger, Linkerd, CI/CD, and agile methodologies. Pavel also held the position of Head of ERP Development at Alza.cz, overseeing the functioning of internal systems and managing projects, including outsourcing. Pavel led the architecture guild and the UX team for ERP, and conducted research and PoC for new technologies. Before their time at Alza.cz, Pavel worked at Sprinx Systems Group as a Technical Director, System Architect, Product Group Manager, and Business Development Manager from 1999 to 2014. Prior to that, they worked at Lexmark as a Technical Support Manager, and at H&J Computers s.r.o. as a Technical Director.

Pavel Ježek obtained their Inženýr (Ing.) degree in Radioelektronika from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. This education spanned from 1987 to 1993. In addition to their formal education, Pavel Ježek has obtained several certifications, including "Infrastructure and Application Modernization with Google Cloud," "Elastic Google Cloud Infrastructure: Scaling and Automation," and "Google Cloud Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" from Coursera, all in February and March of 2022. Pavel also holds certifications from Microsoft, including "Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)," "Microsoft Certified IT Professional - Dynamics," "Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)," "Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)," "Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)," "Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)," and "Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist -Dynamics." Additionally, Pavel Ježek has received Symantec Sales Expert Awards and Symantec Technical Specialist Awards, including "Symantec Enterprise Vault 8" and "Symantec Mail Security for SMTP 5," respectively.
