Steve began their career as the Head Trader at American Securities/Oak Hall from 1996 to 1999 before transitioning to Value Investing Partners Inc. as the Head Trader from 1999 to 2001. Following this, they became an entrepreneur at Hobokencolorado, LLC from 2001 to 2010. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Bookkeeper at Boynton Beach Community High School. Steve then took on the role of Accounting Manager at A&Associates from 2016 to 2018, where they processed payroll and improved accounts. Steve has also held positions as a Staff Accountant at SNI Technology from 2018 to 2019 and an Accountant at AppleOne Employment Services from 2019 to 2019. Steve served as an Accounting Manager at Alzheimer's Community Care from 2019 to 2022 before becoming an Accounting Bookkeeper at Sheer Enterprises, Inc. from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are the Director of Accounting at Alzheimer's Community Care, where they assist with accounting operations and implements improvements.
Steve Janssen holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from Pace University - Lubin School of Business, which they earned from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, General from Walsh College from 1984 to 1986. Their education history also includes an associate's degree in Computer Science from Oakland Community College, completed from 1982 to 1984.

Alzheimer's Community Care is dedicated to promoting and providing community-based, family-centered care for patients and their caregivers living with neurocognitive disorders, through the belief, that where there is help, there is hope. Alzheimer's Community Care is a 501(c)(3) local nonprofit organization that has been providing care and resources to families in South Florida coping with Alzheimer's disease and related neurocognitive disorders for more than 20 years. Our specialized services include: - 11 Specialized Adult Day Care Centers, providing daily respite for both patients and caregivers; - Family Nurse Consultants, helping caregivers navigate the disease. Provided at no cost; - ID Locator Bracelets, allowing local law enforcement to quickly locate patients who wander away from home. Provided at no cost; - Case Managers, working with families to identify and access funding for services; - 24-Hour Crisis Line, connecting families in crisis to immediate assistance. Provided at no cost; - Education & Training, providing families, patients, caregivers, staff, law enforcement, students and other members of the community with the latest education on Alzheimer's disease and related neurocognitive disorders.
