Reine Y. Fakih

Reine Y. Fakih worked at AM BANK as the Head of Internal Audit from November 2022 onwards. In this role, they evaluated economic risks, ensured regulatory compliance, and strengthened operational continuity. Prior to this, they were a Branch Manager at AM BANK from August 2016 to November 2022. During this time, they monitored operations for legal adherence, interpreted critical circulars, and provided leadership in day-to-day operations. Before joining AM BANK, Reine worked at Federal Bank of Lebanon s.a.l as a Relationship Officer Corporate Banking from July 2009 to September 2014, attending seminars on Islamic finance organized by BDL.

Reine Y. Fakih pursued their education at the American University of Beirut. From 2006 to 2009, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Banking, Finance, and credit risk analysis. In 2022 and 2023, Reine attended the American University of Beirut's Suliman S. Olayan School of Business Executive MBA program. Additionally, in 2023, they enrolled at IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors to pursue a certification as a CIA Certified Internal Auditor, specializing in Audit.
