Elitumaini Swai

Elitumaini Swai is a Development Engineer I at AM Batteries since June 2023 and the Founder of Sayansi Ambassadors, a project dedicated to science outreach in primary government schools in Moshi Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. With a strong background in sustainability, Swai served as a Sustainability Intern at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from December 2019 to June 2023, focusing on stormwater management and GIS mapping. Additional experience includes internships and roles such as Lab Technician Intern at Doble Engineering Company, Undergraduate Researcher at WPI’s Chemistry Department, and various positions within the Office of Multicultural Affairs. Elitumaini Swai holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, complemented by prior education at UWC South East Asia and Anwarite Girls Secondary School.
