Cass Byrd

Cass Byrd has a wealth of experience in supply chain management and purchasing roles in the automotive industry. They started their career as a Senior Buyer at General Motors in 1993, where they managed a significant budget and were responsible for global sourcing and negotiations. In 1997, they transitioned to the role of Lead Buyer, supervising a team and overseeing divestitures and supplier management. In 2008, they joined AM General LLC as a Senior Purchasing Manager, where they supervised a team of procurement professionals and implemented regional and global strategies. They later served as the Director of Commercial Supply Chain and played a key role in synchronizing supply chain activities and coordinating vendors. In 2020, Cass retired from their most recent position at AMG.

Cass Byrd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Northern Michigan University. Additionally, Cass holds a Master of Arts Degree in Business Management from Central Michigan University.
