Robert Gutierrez

Robert Gutierrez has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to quality engineering and product development. Robert is currently working at AM General LLC as the Director of Product Development Process Excellence, a position they have held since October 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Manager of Competitive Operations at AM General LLC from April 2021 to January 2024.

Before joining AM General LLC, Gutierrez worked at SERES EV as the Senior Manager of Quality Engineering from November 2017 to August 2020. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at AM General LLC, including Quality Engineering Manager from March 2016 to October 2017, Supplier Quality Manager from January 2015 to March 2016, and Senior Quality Engineer from March 2014 to January 2015.

Gutierrez also gained experience at CTS Corporation as a Supplier Development Engineer from July 2013 to March 2014. Additionally, they worked at General Motors, where they held various positions, including Quality Engineer from April 2007 to November 2008 and Manufacturing Engineer from August 2001 to April 2007. Gutierrez began their career as a College Graduate in Training at General Motors from August 2000 to August 2001.

Throughout their career, Gutierrez has demonstrated their expertise in quality engineering and has contributed to multiple product launches, supplier management, and process improvement initiatives.

Robert Gutierrez received their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 2000. Robert then pursued further education at the University of Michigan, where they obtained a Master's degree in Global Automotive Manufacturing Engineering in 2010. Before attending university, Gutierrez attended Oswego High School from 1992 to 1996.
