Randy Roland has a strong background in finance and leadership roles. Randy started their career in 1991 at Seasonal Concepts, where they served as the COO / CFO. During their time there, they successfully managed finance, operations, IT, and administrative functions. Randy also spearheaded the expansion of the permanent store division and played a crucial role in opening 60 new locations across the United States during the 4th quarter every year. Additionally, they launched an e-commerce initiative.
In 2000, they joined Redtag Biz as the EVP / CFO. In this role, they directed finance, logistics, and administrative functions and played a key role in the company's rapid growth in sales. Randy also managed relationships with investors and lenders and facilitated acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
In 2002, Randy became the President / CEO of MBI Publishing Company, an internationally recognized specialty book publisher / distributor. Under their leadership, the company experienced rapid change and growth. Randy refreshed the title assortment through revised product development processes, organic product line growth, and acquisitions. With their guidance, the company published over 300 new titles annually with a staff of 150 and an author/contractor pool of over 750.
In 2007, they founded Second Phase Media Group and served as its Founder until 2008. Finally, in 2008, Randy joined AM Retail Group as the Senior Vice President / CFO.
Randy Roland has a BA in Economics from Carleton College and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.
