Shannon Knighton-Johnson

Shannon Knighton-Johnson has a diverse work experience starting in 2006 at Wilsons Leather as the Manager of Operations and Administration. In this role, they improved operational effectiveness and functionality of in-store processes and proposed projects to increase yearly sales numbers.

In 2011, Shannon joined AM Retail Group as the Director of Store Operations. They trained and supervised a support team, focusing on cost reduction and task management to minimize product loss and enhance retention. They also emphasized customer experience and effectively resolved reported issues.

In 2016, Shannon transitioned to the role of Director of Store Communications at AM Retail Group. They advised the senior corporate leadership team on communications strategy and ensured efficient delivery of company initiatives and messaging across all national locations. They created and controlled communication processes to maintain consistent messaging from corporate ideation to in-store implementation.

Shannon Knighton-Johnson graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time at the university, they majored in Communications and also studied Criminology.
