Karthick Perumal

Karthick Perumal has over 15 years of professional experience in the software engineering field. Karthick began their career in 2005 as a Software Developer at Ninestars Information Technologies. In 2007, they moved to MindTree as a Senior Engineer, where they worked on the EMC Project for 2.5 years and the Symantec Project for 1.4 years. In 2010, they were promoted to Module Lead/Technology Specialist at MindTree. In 2011, Karthick joined Honeywell Tech Solutions Lab Pvt Ltd as a Tech Lead, where they were responsible for the design and development of OPC Server, Client, and OPC Converter. Karthick was also involved in requirement analysis, planning, estimating, follow-up, and delivery as per schedule. In 2016, they were promoted to Technical Specialist at the same company, where they were responsible for the delivery of Matrikon OPC Classic and OPC UA product. In 2022, Karthick moved to QuEST Global as a Software Architect, where they were involved in the design and development of Global Discovery Server for Open Process Automation Standard System Solutions. Most recently, in 2023, they joined Amadis Technologies as the Product Engineering Head.

Karthick Perumal completed a BE in IT from Jeyamatha Engineering College between 2000 and 2004. Karthick then obtained seven certifications from various institutions between 2015 and 2020, including Software Design and Architecture from Coursera in 2020, Introduction to the Internet of Things and Embedded Systems from University of California, Irvine in 2019, Emotional Intelligence from HONEYWELL TECHNOLOGIES SOLUTIONS LAB PVT LTD, BANGALORE in 2017, Project Management Simplified from LinkedIn in 2016, Leadership Skills Workshop from HONEYWELL TECHNOLOGIES SOLUTIONS LAB PVT LTD, BANGALORE in 2016, M101P: MongoDB for Developers from MongoDB, Inc. in 2015, and Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in 2015. Karthick is currently pursuing a PG Diploma in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence from International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore, which will be completed in 2022.
