Sonia Priscilla Garcia has a wealth of work experience, starting in 2012 when they founded Design for America at Rice University and served as a Design Leadership Coach. In 2014, they began working at Accenture in two roles, Health Strategy Consultant and Strategy Analyst. In 2012, they also participated in CREATE: Case's Rising Engineers & Technical Entrepreneurs Design Internship at Case Western Reserve University. In 2019, they joined Nike as a Digital Innovation Product Manager for Adapt + Connected Footwear. In 2018, they founded the nonprofit By the Future, For the Future in partnership with NAMI Greater Houston. In the same year, they were selected as a Knight-Hennessy Scholar at Stanford University. In 2020, they became the Director of Member Experience & Community at Brightline (formerly Emilio Health). Most recently, in 2021, they joined The Spike Lab as a Coach. In 2022, they will become the Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer at Amae Health.

Sonia Priscilla Garcia has a MS from Stanford University in the Engineering Design Program at the d.school, a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Rice University in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, and a Certification in Engineering Leadership from Rice University. Additionally, they have an Open Water Diver certification from PADI obtained in July 2014. Prior to that, they attended Universidad Carlos III de Madrid for Aerospace Engineering.
