Srivatsa Srinath

Srivatsa Srinath has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Their most recent position was as the Director of Data Science at Amagi Corporation, where they led the data science division and focused on enriching the meta content of videos through ML/DL approaches. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Data Scientist at Almug Technologies Pvt Ltd, where they solved problems in the Fintech domain using machine learning and AI. As an Independent Consultant, they played the role of an adviser and lead data scientist, working with startups to apply data science for problem-solving and value creation. Srivatsa also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Stylumia, where they built models for vision and ranking in the fashion industry. Srivatsa has also held the role of Visiting Faculty at SP Jain School of Global Management, teaching courses on inferential statistics and traditional machine learning. Earlier in their career, they served as a Data Science Consultant at Netwala Inc. and as a Manager in Technical Sales and Marketing at Ittiam Systems Pvt Ltd. Srivatsa began their career at Intel Corporation, where they held various positions, including Engineering Manager and Senior Design and Automation Engineer. Throughout their career, Srivatsa has gained expertise in data science, machine learning, AI, product strategy, technical sales, and marketing.

Srivatsa Srinath completed their High School education in Computer Science at D.A.V Gopalapuram, Chennai from 1988 to 1997. Srivatsa then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 1997 to 2001. Srivatsa furthered their education by completing a Master's degree in Engineering Science (with a focus on Solid State Electronics) at Penn State University from 2001 to 2003. Later, they attended the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore from 2013 to 2019, where they earned an MBA with a specialization in Analytics and Marketing through the PGSEM/PGPEM program.
