Delphine Knittel

Delphine Knittel currently serves as Head of Operations, Project Manager, and R&D CRO Manager at Amal Therapeutics since February 2021. Previously, Delphine worked at AC Immune from March 2015 to January 2021, where responsibilities included developing and validating bioanalytical assays for therapeutic vaccines, managing immunogenicity testing, and overseeing CRO selection and audits. Delphine also has experience as a postdoctoral fellow in molecular immunology focused on optimizing liposomal vaccines for Alzheimer’s disease, and completed a PhD at CEA, where the thesis investigated molecular mechanisms affecting protein immunogenicity. Early career experiences include developing monoclonal antibodies at Roche and producing recombinant antibody fragments at Helmholtz-Institut. Delphine holds a Master 2 in Biologie Santé from Université Montpellier II and an engineering degree in Chimie Biologie Santé from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier.
