Lisa Steglich

Senior Vice President - Lead Portfolio Manager at Amalgamated Bank

Lisa Steglich has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Lisa currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors at the Public Utility Law Project of New York since December 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of a Board of Directors member at North Star Fund from June 2015.

Lisa has also worked at Amalgamated Bank since July 2013, where they have held the position of Senior Vice President and Lead Portfolio Manager. In this role, they oversee a portfolio of mission-based loans and provides financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and oversight for loan portfolio and complex credit structures.

Lisa has also been a Climate Fellow at the Climate Safe Lending Fellowship since October 2021 until March 2022.

In the political arena, Lisa has worked for the Obama for America campaign in two positions. Lisa was a Field Organizer from February 2012 to November 2012, where they managed and trained a large team of volunteers and exceeded goals set by headquarters. Lisa also served as a Deputy Field Organizer (Volunteer) from October 2007 to November 2008, where they assisted the New York State Political Director with various tasks.

Prior to their political work, Lisa had extensive experience in the financial sector. Lisa worked at Morgan Guaranty (now JP Morgan Chase) as a Vice President from 1985 to 1992, where they managed a portfolio of principal foreign exchange trades. Before that, they worked at Chemical Bank as a Treasury Officer from 1982 to 1985, where they analyzed and made loans to multinational companies and those in the film, television, and radio industries.

Lisa Steglich has an AB degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Harvard University.
