Sharon Hester Koontz

Sharon Hester Koontz, MSIT, PMP, serves as Vice President of the Enterprise Project Management Office at Amalgamated Bank since April 2024. Previously, Sharon held the position of Program Manager at JourneyOne Tech from May 2023 to February 2024, where responsibilities included leading digital transformation and Generative AI initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency, and implementing cybersecurity training. Prior roles include Project Manager for the NYC COVID Contact Tracing and Vaccination Program at NYC Doitt (March 2021 - May 2023), Project Manager at the City of New York's Mayor's Office of Contract Services (July 2019 - December 2020), and a series of positions at JetBlue Airways from January 2000 to December 2018, culminating in the role of IT Program Manager. Sharon holds a BS from Howard University and an MSIT from Marlboro College.
