Beth Barefoot

Beth Barefoot has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Beth is currently the Director of People and Culture at Amalgamated Foundation since July 2023. Prior to this, they held the same role at the Democratic National Committee from April 2020 to July 2023. Before that, they were the Senior Manager of Finance and Administration at the Center for Law and Social Policy from April 2018 to April 2020. Beth also served as the Director of Finance and Operations at DirectWomen from February 2017 to April 2018. Additionally, they have experience as a Director of Administration at BlueLabs: Analytics, Data, Technology from October 2015 to December 2016, an Administrative Director at Senator Mazie K. Hirono's office from January 2013 to September 2015, and Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Director of Finance Operations at DCCC from January 2009 to January 2013 and February 2007 to December 2008, respectively. Further, they held positions such as Assistant to the Executive Director at Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Services from May 2006 to February 2007, Director of Operations at Regan for Lt. Governor from January 2006 to May 2006, and Executive Assistant & Scheduler at the Office of Congressman Dan Boren from January 2005 to December 2005.

Beth Barefoot obtained a Bachelor's of Arts and Sciences degree in Women's Studies from the University of Oklahoma from 1996 to 2003. Beth then pursued a Juris Doctorate at The Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law from 2011 to 2016. Beth also holds a Law and Public Policy Certification from the same institution.
