Jacob Lenard

Jacob Lenard has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In their current role as the Director of Design & Technical Services at AMAN, they are responsible for managing regional new build developments for Hotel, Club & Residences for Aman & Janu brands. Jacob also oversees expansions and renovations of existing properties and sets brand standards for Residences globally.

Prior to their current position, Jacob worked at Arquitectonica, where they held multiple roles, including Director Of Interior Design and Associate Director of Interior Design. Jacob was involved in managing and designing large-scale commercial, retail, residential, and hospitality spaces across North America, South America, and Asia.

Before that, they worked as an Interior Designer, where their responsibilities included working on interiors and custom furniture for luxury condominiums, hospitality, education, and commercial spaces.

Jacob also has experience as a Furniture Designer at CB2, where they collaborated on a Limited Edition furniture collection in partnership with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Their work gained recognition in publications such as the NY Times, Refinery 29, and Architectural Digest.

Additionally, Jacob has worked as an Experience Designer at Territory Brands, a Retail Architectural Designer at Urban Outfitters, and a Photojournalist at The Miami Herald Media Company.

Jacob Lenard holds a Master of Design in Designed Objects from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Jacob also has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. Jacob further pursued their education in Interior Architecture through a study abroad program at DIS. Jacob completed their high school education and obtained a Highschool Diploma from Ransom Everglades School. Additionally, Jacob has obtained certifications such as NCIDQ Certification from CIDQ in 2020 and LEED GREEN ASSOCIATE from USGBC Florida in 2018.
