Catia Lopes

Catia Lopes has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Catia is currently working at Amana Healthcare, where they started in 2019 as a Clinical Nurse Lead. Catia later became a Nurse Manager in 2021 and then took on the role of Acting Director of Clinical Operations in 2023.

Prior to working at Amana Healthcare, Catia worked at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi from 2017 to 2019 in the ICU department. Catia also worked at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust from 2015 to 2017 in the ITU department.

In addition, Catia gained experience at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Catia worked in the Cardiothoracic & Neurosurgery department from 2016 to 2017 and in the Renal Transplantation department from 2013 to 2015.

Before moving to the United Kingdom, Catia started their nursing career at Hospital de Santa Maria in 2009, where they worked as a Registered Nurse until 2013. Catia also worked at Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust from 2012 to 2013 in the Internal Medicine department.

Catia Lopes completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations at the London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) from 2021 to 2023. Prior to this, they pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Intensive Care Course from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society in 2015-2016. Catia also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing Science from Escola Superior de Enfermagem de Coimbra from 2005 to 2009. In addition, they obtained certification from The Institute of Leadership & Management Program in 2023.
