Thomas Ording

Thomas Ording has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. At Amano Pioneer Eclipse, they held the position of SVP of Business Operations, where they managed various operations in a $60M global industrial business, including manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, and finance. Thomas was also involved in negotiations for two acquisitions. At Labsco: Laboratory Supply Company, they served as VP, Operations and Logistics, leading customer service, sourcing, distribution, and logistics organizations. Thomas implemented several process improvements, launched 3PL logistics services, and played a key role in ERP implementation. At GE, they held several positions, including Logistics Manager, Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt, Supplier Account Manager, Customer Fulfillment Manager, and Sr. Transportation Manager, showcasing their expertise in supply chain management, negotiation, and team leadership. Additionally, they worked for Cadillac Plastic as a Region Manager and Director of Sourcing & Logistics, overseeing distribution, manufacturing, sourcing, and logistics. In both roles, they achieved significant improvements in inventory management and operational efficiency. As a Marketing Project Manager and Sourced Product Manager at GE, Thomas focused on improving supply chain metrics, reducing inventory, and driving business growth through lean techniques and innovative warehousing systems.

Thomas Ording attended Rochester Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. Thomas also studied Mechanical Engineering at Michigan Technological University, although their degree status is unknown.
